Music App to Entertain
and Learn

Clef Note Created By
Amazing music app to entertain your friends, keep children quiet and relax after a rough day. My husband has come in the front door and heard me playing the Magic Piano. He says he likes it better than hearing the TV blaring when he gets in. He hopes I keep using the Piano app.

In my classroom we use instruments to increase fine motor skills. The sound of the guitar, ukulele, piano etc is so much better than practicing the pincer grasp, weights on the wrist and picking up blocks.

These apps would also be great to use with senior citizens who need a little mental stimulation. Fine motor rehabilitation, following directions and staying focused. They say, Music Tames the Beast so let's use whatever will work to entertain, teach and rehabilitate.

This music app has been the most entertaining and longest lasting app. So many levels, 3 difficulty levels, so many new songs. The selection is vast from classical to current releases, from folk to jazz. Touch the beams of light and start playing - no lessons needed only practice. You will be able to share your performance if you like. Listen to others who who have broadcasted their performance. I love playing with the piano provided on SOLO Play but I'm not a pianist but it's fun to feel like I have great sounding piano whenever I want it.

Xylophone Challenge

This is the kind of music app that I am looking for, it doesn't look childish and sounds so good. It doesn't have the metal sound of a toy xylophone. There is another option of bars to use. It is a sound I have never heard from a xylophone. Muted and comfortable. You'll have to try that sound.

The game so challenging if your hearing is bad. Mess up you get a chance to hear and see the bars vibrate then you can try again but you are not in game mode. But another way to use the xylophone as a memory game.
