There are a number of Sudoku game apps. This is a basic Sudoku game with a little help that makes it easy to play. All options are on such as: showing incorrect answers in red, the number button is disabled when that number is completed on the game board, removes the number from the notes in the box, column, and row that contains the cell with your correct answer.

You can choose Easy, Medium, Hard and Expert. I read that all puzzles are solvable without guessing but that hasn’t happened for me yet. When you stop playing, the game pauses, and when you are ready - you select resume and you pick up where you left off.

There are other features that allows you to customize the look of your game app. Get scores of fast time of finish a grid. Makes you look, think and plan.

The classic dots game. Tap the the two dots next to each other to create a line. Try to get four lines to create a box to win. When a player closes a box they get to go again. Once all of the dots are connected the player with the most boxes wins. You can play the computer or in the 2 person mode. The sound effects are quite dramatic.

There are so many game apps with the Connect Four theme. This one has the classic look that I like. Tap the top of the column you want your piece to fall into. Try to get 4 in a row before your opponent.

But we didn't stop there! Try out are completely new and unique 3 and 4 player modes where you get to drop pieces around a multiple sided game board and the winning row can wrap around the sides. This is a great way for the whole family or a group of friends to enjoy this game together like they never have before!

Touch the Numbers

3 STARS out of 5

There are a number of game apps that test your reflexes, quickness and accuracy.

This is also an exercise in memory. Can you, do you remember the numbers 1 to 25? Can you be swift and agile to tap the numbers? Does your eye move swiftly? Can you use your peripheral vision to locate the next number?

This would be a great game app to use in the classroom as well as at a retirement community. See next app for alphabet version.

Touch the Alphabets

2.5 STARS out of 5

Touch the Alphabets from A to Z as fast as you can. This game is the alphabet version of "Touch the Numbers". You can change the look of the grid on this one. Make keys gray or yellow, see Touch the Numbers.

The last letter will pop up somewhere on the grid when you hit the letter Y. This is a great app to be used in elementary schools as well as at retirement homes.

Except I'm in neither group and I enjoy challenging myself.
