Fun Trivia for the Classroom

Do you like trivia? These are some of the fun trivia games used in my classroom. General knowledge about animals, Disney movies, and just odd facts that are fun to know. I was taught to give an edge to the special ed kids by teaching them fun facts and trivia. When general ed and special ed get together and special ed can spout out trivia answers. General ed students will look with new found admiration towards the special ed students.

The way I see it any and all information can be trivia. It depends on who and what you ask. One piece of information may be trivia to one person but another. Such as, How many bones in a cat's tail? (animal lover) What are the colors in a rainbow? How many colors in a rainbow? (science lover) Who wrote Harry Potter? (literary lover) I love knowing unusual facts trivial or not.

Oh, and let's not forget Disney. Do you know all the facts about Disney? When did Disneyland open? When is Walt Disney's birthdate? When did Snow White come out? Who is the voice of the Beast?

Let's all have some fun learning interesting facts with the kids.
