Best Free Apps for Note Taking, Organizing and De-cluttering

Messy desk: Reminder to use Note Taking, Organizing and De-cluttering Apps
I'm looking for the best free apps for note taking, organizing and de-cluttering. This is my usual note organizing system. I write myself a note but I forget where I put it or I can’t find it.

I’m tried out a few of these to organize myself. There is my teaching schedule, my personal schedule, the website To-Do list and the schedule of my family members that I need to remember. I’m forgetting so much....

I’ve been using Evernote to keep my Website to do lists, ideas, apps to review, people to talk to, and photos as needed. If I use this app on my iPad I can get home, switch to my desk top and continue working.

I’ve been using N+OTES to keep a LIST of Things I Need to Remember. Such as What to ask the doctor and what I have to do day to day. Because of the file folder it creates, I like it.

The best free app is called my Secret Diary that I like too. Has a lock option that brings up a pad for your code.

I’ll have to consolidate all my information on to one real soon.

Of the best free app for note taking and organizing has been Trello. It has been easy to learn and very, very versatile. I have Personal Boards and Shared Boards. The personal boards I have are: things I need to do and things to remember for the house, work and my health. I can collect ideas for a remodel, collect ideas and patterns for my knitting. My most important board is a shared board is called EATS. Ideas of places my lunch buddy and I want to eat. Trello even has a calendar. We share a calendar to keep track of available days to go have lunch.

My favorite app to remember everything. I use it to take notes about apps. I can save photos along with the notes. I can remember the details of the app as I am using for future reviewing.

I can take notes on the road on my iPad or iPhone, later I can use my desktop computer and have everything right there, ready for me. I’ve created a list of future apps I want to find. I’m also thinking of using this app to start a report at work and continue on it at without worrying about emailing the file to myself at home.

Here are some ways to use Evernote for your personal and professional life:
- Research smarter: snap photos of whiteboards and books
- Take meeting and class notes, draft agendas and research notes
- Plan a trip: keep track of travel plans, plane tickets and passports
- Organize and save recipes; search by ingredients later
- Create a grocery list or task list and check things off as you go
- View web pages saved in Evernote on your desktop
- Capture ideas and inspiration on the go
- Access files and notes you create on your phone from your desktop
- Keep track of products and prices for comparison shopping purposes
- Reduce paper clutter by taking snapshots of restaurant menus, business cards and labels

You will be able to create a weeks worth of lists and add notes as you need, check off when done or edit the date and postpone it.
I like this app for the visual dates provided down along the left side. Scan down and select the date.

Looks different on the Android device but the premise is the same, make and use a list.

I love the look of security. A three digit number combination.

Add sticky notes, pictures from your album and emoticon stickers. If you want to change emoticons just side it to the right edge and and it will ask you if you want to delete it.

It also allows you to play music from your iTunes library. This really reminds me of my younger days with music, stickers and doodling.

This might the best free app to get the students to start writing. Other features available on the paid app with no ads.
